Garden City requires a Short-Term Rental Business License, with new applications only accepted annually between January 1st and April 30th.

If you want to rent your property for less than 30 days in Garden City, you must obtain a specific STR business license. New licenses are only processed in the first four months of the year, and you must have a local emergency contact who can reach the property within 15 minutes. Your occupancy will be strictly limited based on the square footage of your sleeping areas and available on-site parking.
